About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need to show physical ticket for onward destination or e-ticket is acceptable?

I’m flying San Francisco ——>Beijing——>Osaka. Is e-ticket or flight information (initenary information) from email good enough to receive 240 visa free transit or I have to present printed physical ticket. Thank you

You can present your ticket booking confirmation (the one sent to your email - itinerary information) as a screenshot on your smartphone, definitely. It is, however, better to have it as a printout because it is easier to checks performed by check-in staff in San Francisco and also by Chinese immigration authorities when you land in Beijing. In general, both options are fine. Just one detail... You should just be careful that your flight San Francisco to Beijing does not have a landing of any kind in Japan. Have a nice visit to China.
