About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I will be coming to china from UK as a family of 3

Hi, please I will to confirm if my itinerary is align with the china 240 hours visa free transit
From London to Shanghai 2nd to 7th April
Shanghai to Guangzhou 7th to 11th April
Guangzhou to Japan 11th to 17th
Japan to London 18th April

Yes, your itinerary is definitely eligible, but only if you really plan to stay within mainland China from April 2nd to April 11th. It is a bit unclear the time you plan to spend in China from your post, but I think I have properly understood that the dates are 2nd - 11th. So,if I have properly understood, you are good to go - visa free, but you should have in mind that you will have to buy your Japan bound ticket before your departure from UK to Shanghai. Have a nice visit to China.
