About:China Visa on Arrival

Can I leave Shenzhen with the VOA via Shenzhen via airport?

I will be travelling to Shenzhen from Hong Kong via Lo Wu Port. Can I leave within the 5 days to travel back to the UK via Shenzhen Bao’an international airport?

Yes, you are definitely allowed to do that. In fact many of those taking Shenzhen 5 day visa on arrival depart from Shenzhen to some other country by plane. The reason is simple, quite a number of flights is somewhat or even noticeably cheaper from Shenzhen compared to those from Hong Kong. Here you have to be aware of one important detail and that one is that your flight out from Shenzhen is not allowed to have any additional landing of any kind within mainland China. It has to go directly (on nonstop flight) from Shenzhen to some other country different than mainland China. Have a nice visit to Shenzhen.
