About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise trip

Hi, I am Indonesian passport holder and I will be arriving in Shanghai Pudong Airport (from Indonesia) and the next day I will be cruising with Royal Carribean through Wusongkou Port, and after the cruise finishes, I will arrive again at Wusongkou Port then next day fly back to Indonesia, am I eligible for 240hour visa free? Thanks a lot!

Yes, you are eligible for 24/240 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. It is just important that your cruise has a visit to a third country or eligible territory after you leave mainland China port. For example, Indonesia - Shanghai - South Korea - Japan - Taiwan - Shanghai - Indonesia is an eligible itinerary. It is highly advisable to have your cruise voucher printed out as well as your flight ticket from Shanghai to Indonesia. Have a wonderful journey.
