About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

240hrs Belgium-Beijing-Shanghai-Seoul

I am a Dutch citizen and will travel in 2026 from Belgium to South Korea.
We have a 3day stop in Beijing. Then fly to Shanghai where we have a 3 days stop. After that we fly to South Korea.
Can we do this with the 240hrs free visa policy?

Since you are the citizen of the Netherlands, you do not have to bother yourself about the 24 or 240 hour visa free transit stuff because you can travel to China absolutely visa free for a stay of up to 30 days. Simply speaking, the 24 or 240 hour visa free transit rules do not apply to the majority of the citizens of the EU countries, the Netherlands included. You can enter China from any border crossing and from any country and also take any border crossing to exit from it to any country. You can do this in the same way as you visit UK, for example. Have a nice visit to China.
