About:Urumqi Tianshan Airport

Transit visa needed?

I am a Russian passport holder and I am traveling to Bishkek from Vladivostok with 2 China connections: Beijing (2.5 hours) - Urumqi (7.5 hours) . Do I need a transit visa in this case?

If your scheduled arrival time to Beijing to scheduled departure time from Urumqi is less than 24 hours, there is no need to apply for a transit visa. Just apply for a 24h visa-free entry permit upon arrival to leave the airport for your connecting flight.
