About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Los Angeles > Shanghai > Seoul > Los Angeles

I'm traveling from Los Angeles to Shanghai for 6 days, then Seoul for another 6, before heading back to Los Angeles. If I'm understanding this correctly, I'm good with the 240 hour transit visa exemption, correct?

Yes, your itinerary is eligible for 240 hour visa free transit, there is no doubt about it. You should just take care that your flight from US to Shanghai does not have a landing of any kind in South Korea. Have a nice visit to China.
