Hanoi-Guangzhou-London - do we qualify for visa-free to visit Guangzhou

Hi, we are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). All of us have dual nationalities (British and Vietnamese). We live in the UK. We plan to visit our relatives in Hanoi this summer, and on the way back to the UK, we want to stop by Guangzhou for a week. Our flights will be on August 11 from Hanoi to Guangzhou, then on August 18 from Guangzhou to London. Do we qualify for visa-free in Guangzhou? What should we do once we have landed in Guangzhou?

Yes, you qualify for visa-free in GZ and you should purchase the ticket to London before you take the flight to GZ from Hanoi. After landing, you need to follow the guide to apply for the 240h visa free transit at the immigration office. A hotel reservation in GZ will help.
