About:China Visa Application in USA

I want to travel to China and visit two cities in May or June.

I want to travel to China for the first time in June or July 2025. I would like to visit two cities-Xianjin and Ghounzou. I will buys some products sample for my business. Do I need the name of the companies I want to buy the samples from and do I need hotel reservations. Thank you.

Company names are not needed but hotel reservation and round trip tickets are better to be provided although the official says Americans are exempt from the materials if you go to China mainly for tourism.
