Tax Refund After Shopping in Multiple Cities in China

Hi. I plan to visit Chengdu and Xi'an. My departure flight will begin in Xi'an with a 6-hour layover in Beijing (PKX airport). During this trip, I plan to buy some electronics. In which of these cities should I make my purchases to ensure I can obtain tax refunds when exiting China? And at which cities should I request tax refunds? Thanks!

You can purchase in any of the three cities to obtain tax refunds as long as you buy at duty-free shops. You can get refund at some shopping malls with tax refund service point or at the departure airport when exiting China.
