Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free - problem

good morning, I wanted to come to Hainan for tourist purposes. I am a Polish citizen and theoretically we have the right to stay in China without a visa for 30 days. Theoretically, this includes Hainan, but I just read the information that this visa-free regime is only possible in the case of a direct flight from Europe or with a transfer in a country outside China. I bought a flight from Vienna with a transfer in Chengdu. I won't be able to get a visa in my country. Is it possible to obtain a visa at Sanya airport?

The answer goes first: You will be given a 30-day visa free entry at Chengdu Airport, your first stop in Mainland China, not Sanya Airport.

Since you are eligible for 30-day visa-free stay in China, forget about the Hainan 30-day. Hainan is a part of China so it is included in the China 30-day visa-free stay area.
