About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

1 time 30-day visa-free entry or 2 times 240 hours

good day
I come from Slovakia-European Union. I plan to fly from Vienna to Guangzhou, stay here for 2 days then continue -1 day + night Macau-3 days Hong Kong-3 days Taipei (Taiwan)-back to China Shanghai 3 days Zhangjiajie 2 days-Xi 2 days-Beijing 3 days. Last day in Beijing departure to Vienna. I have 3 questions please:
1. Please, should I apply for a visa-free transit of 240 hours the first and second time? I have already bought all the tickets. The exception is the trip to Macau where I will go from Guangzhou by train. 2. It is enough if I provide proof of a paid hotel in Macau when applying for the first visa-free entry (I will buy the train ticket on site in Guangzhou.
3. For the second 240-hour visa-free entry, I have bought a Taipei-Shanghai flight and on the 10th day of my stay in China, a Beijing-Vienna flight
Thank you very much :-)) for your help to us

Marcel, the citizens of Slovakia have right to enter China for up to 30 days absolutely visa free and they are not subject of 24/240 hour visa free transit. Your entire itinerary will be based on your right to travel to China based on 30 days visa free regime and you should forget about 24/240 hour visa free transit. This scheme is irrelevant in your case.

1. You will enter China visa free and not on 240 hour visa free transit. You will just fill out an arrival card and perform fingerprinting before the immigration and you will skip 24/240 hour visa free transit counters. This is valid every single time you enter China.
2. You can have a paid hotel in Macau, but again, this is just a good addition to your overall itinerary since you are not a subject of 240 hour visa free transit. It is always good to have a booked hotel for the first overnight in China because you will see on arrival card that you will be asked for your address in China. Here you will just write the name of your accommodation/hotel.
3. This is all fine, but you really did not need to bother yourself with 240 hour visa free transit stuff. You are allowed to enter China in the similar way as you enter, for example, Turkey or UK.

Just to conclude, you are good to go, just do not bother with 240 hour visa free transit. This is irrelevant for the citizens of Slovakia. You travel to China - visa free. Have a nice visit to China.
