Hello, according to the China visa free policy stated that eligible Ports to arrive in Guangdong are the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, Shenzhen Bao'an Airport, as well as Jieyang Chaoshan Airport. Please explain and confirm that tourist could enter Guandong from Hongkong via ferry under the 240 hrs visa free policy. If this is possible, can the tourist exit Guandong via train to Hongkong?

Yes, you can take a ferry to Nansha Port in GZ or Shekou Port in Shenzhen under the 240 and can exit Guangdong via train to HK.

Thanks for your reply. To be safe before I book the tickets, my itinerary is TORONTO--->BAIYUN AIRPORT (visit Guangdong for 10 days)--->KOWLOON WEST. Stay one night in Hongkong. Then take ferry to Nansha port, visit Guangdong for 10 days, fly back to Toronto. So I have to buy a confirmed train ticket to exit Guangzhou to West Kowloon before I board the plane at Toronto, and when I take ferry to Nansha, I will show the return ticket to Toronto. Is this allright for visiting Guangzhou twice to qualify for the 240 hrs visa free transit policy? I am worried because the return return ticket to Toronto may not be considered as a connecting or interline ticket to the third country.
Also, when I book the ticket from Guangzhou to West Kowloon, I have to take bullet train from Guangzhou East Railway Station. Is this right?

So the whole route is like: Toronto - GZ (10 days) - West Kowloon, HK - Ferry to Nansha, GZ (another 10 days) - Flight to Toronto?
Yes, you can take advantage of the 240h visa free transit twice and it's alright. Your flight from GZ to Toronto will be considered as a return ticket to a third country.
Guangzhou South, Guangzhou East and Xintang Railway Station all have trains to HK.
