About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24h Temporary Permit Entry Beijing with Indonesian Passport

Hi, I'm holding Indonesian passport. I'll be traveling from Japan to Indonesia with 20 hour transit in Beijing. Am I eligible to leave the airport using the 24-hour temporary permit entry? I have read in some forums people were being denied despite the existing 24 hour visa-free policy.

Yes, you are eligible and the possible reason of being denied may be that their layover is shorter than 8 hours. The success rate for you to get one is very high.
