About:Baggage Allowance and Transportation

Bullet Train - if no space in luggage area?

Hi, our big family (inc 6 kids & elderly) will be travelling for 2 weeks in china, so we will bring large suitcases. What happen if the Bullet Train luggage compartment area is full and no space left? Where should we put our luggages? Thank you

On one hand, I advise you to get onboard early, as the luggage compartment is first come, first use. If the luggage compartment is full, you can put some of your small luggage on the luggage shelves above the seats; then ask the railway staff to handle the rest for you. Usually, the railway staff will arrange the luggage orderly to make up more space.
