I am a UK Passport holder. The itinery looks like:

London to Shanghai
Shanghai to Bangkok
Bangkok to London

Do I qualify for the 72/144 visa free transit in Shanghai? Also can I travel to Yiwu in Zheijang?

Or the other itinery is:

London to Beijing
Beijing to Bangkok
Bangkok to London

Do I qualify for 72/144 visa free transit here too?

Also a friend is joining us from Texas, USA - same itinery, does the above apply for her as well?
