About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa-Free Transit for Vietnamese Passport

Dear Ad,
I am Vietnamese.
I am traveling from Seoul to Vietnam. I have an 25 hours layover in Shanghai and Guangzhou. Do I need to apply a transit visa?

Lucy, unfortunately, when your total transit time exceeds 24 hours, you are not eligible for 24 hour visa free transit. You will have to obtain a Chinese transit (G) visa in advance to be allowed to transit through China. I'm sorry.
