About:Urumqi Tianshan Airport

Transit visa needed?

I am a Russian passport holder and I am traveling to Thailand from Moscow with 2 China connections: Urumqi (1.5 hours) - Beijing (2.5 hours). Do I need a transit visa in this case?

You don't need a transit visa as long as your total stay in China is less than 24 hours. And you need to get a 24h visa free entry permit at the immigration counter at Urumqi Airport.
