About:China Visa

144 hour transit visa free.

I’m a UK passport holder. I want to fly UAE to Beijing then to Thailand. Does that itinerary allow me to do that, or do I have to leave from my home country?

Yes, it's an eligible 144 route. You don't have to fly from your home country. Only the stops before and after China matter. Just make sure your flight has no other stopovers in China.

Can I fly UAE, China, UK? I’m not sure if I’m allowed to fly back to my home country?

It's OK. You can fly back to your home country as long as it's a third country.
