About:China Travel Tips

Q1 Visa or L

My mom and I are planning to travel from Macau to Hong Kong to Mainland China within 2 weeks. Then, I will be flying back to Canada before she goes back to her hometown (Beihai) to visit relatives for 3 weeks. Will we need a Q1 Visa or L Visa? Are we allowed to apply for 2 Visas just in case?

To visit close relatives like spouses, parents, sons, daughters, spouses of sons or daughters, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandsons, granddaughters and parents-in-law? If yes, then you can apply for a Q2 visa for short term family visit.
You can also apply for L visa.
