About:China Family Reunion Visa

Q1 or Q2

I am a Canadian living in China and am in between jobs with plans to visit family in the UK (I'm Canadian but also have family in the UK). My wife is Chinese. I want to travel to the UK and come back to China on a Q1 or a Q2. Can somebody please tell me which one?

How long will you stay in China this time, Andrew? If 30 – 180 days, Q2 is enough; if longer, for example, over 1 year, Q1 suits you better.

Thank you for responding. I actually plan to switch over to working z visa or the residence permit I need to work at the school that is hiring me.

I lost my original degree certificate and ordered a new one which will take time, hence why I need to get the Q1 or the Q2 visa during my 30 day grace period since my working visa was canceled by my school.
