About:Visa on Arrival

Visa For Indonesia Passport?

Hi, will be staying in HK and planned to stay in Shenzhen for 3 days and back to HK. Do I required to apply VISA at the embassy or VOA works? Been googling but there’s a mixture of information. So I’m really confuse. Pls advice.

I understand you. It is true that VOA works and it is true that the rate of approval for Indonesian citizens is very encouraging, but it is also true that nobody can guarantee that you will be successful without some doubt. In reality, it is Chinese visa that you obtain in advance the only realistic guarantee that you will be allowed to enter the country. However, knowing that the current situation as far as the VOA are quite relaxed, I would incline toward VOA. If you decide to apply for VOA, I recommend you to arrive at the Luohu border crossing somewhat in advance in order to avoid the major queues at the later stage.
