About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cameroonian going from Marseille to Tokyo

Hello,
I have a cameroonian passport and travel from Marseille in France to Tokyo in Japan.
I took a ticket on china eastern with a stopover of 2h25 minutes. i won't exit the airport then.
Do you know if i need to do a transit visa?

Serena, your transit through China will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. Also, since your layover in Shanghai is very short and you do not plan to exit the airport, you will just walk from one to the other gate. Also, you will not be a subject of immigration and customs control, but you will just cross a short security check between the two gates. Have a nice journey.
