Can I get a same-day visa in Marseille with my UK passport?

Hello,
I plan to visit my cousin in Shanghai in June. I am a UK citizen and live in France (Aude) so would prefer not to send my passport away for any length of time. I am able to visit the Consulate in Marseille if it is possible to get a same-day visa there. I am aware that I will need to pay by credit card but am not sure of the fee for a UK passport - single entry - so would be grateful if you could also confirm this.
