Hello, I will be traveling with the following itinerary:Step 1: From Sydney to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN). I will stay in the transit area of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for 9 hours. I do not plan to leave the transit area.Step 2: After 9 hours, I will fly from Guangzhou (CAN) to London.I am an Iranian passport holder. Do I need a visa to stay less than 24 hours in the transit area of CAN airport?Thank you.

No, you do not need any kind of visa because your itinerary will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit. Since you have mentioned that you do not intend to leave the airport, you will not be a subject of immigration and customs inspection/control, but you will just walk from one to the other gate.
