About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144-hour visa - ticket to 3rd country with confirmed date and seat

Flying from the UK to Daxing Int’l Airport, then to HK and back to the UK. Reserved seats on flights UK to Beijing and from HK to UK. But the airline doesn’t allow seat reservation for the flight from Beijing to HK. Would it be treated as ticket to 3rd country with confirmed date and seat?

Benji, your itinerary is definitely and undeniably eligible for 144 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. Confirmed seat is a redundant requirement and it really means a confirmed ticket. Please, just continue with your travel plans...
