Hong Kong Citizen making connecting flight at Beijing Capital Airport

I am a Hong Kong residents holding Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passports. I will shortly book a return ticket for travelling from London to Hong Kong via Beijing. Do I need a Home Return Permits for transiting to Hong Kong via Beijing International Airport?

If your luggage is checked through and you don't actually enter China Mainland for the no longer than 24-hour visa transit, then you don't need a return permit, your HK passport is enough.
