About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hours Visa free transit

I am an Italian citizen arriving to Shaghai Hongqiao airport from Taipei (Taiwan), stay 3 days (2 nights) in Shanghai and fight back to Italy from Shanghai Pudong airport through Aby Dhabi.I do not have any additional landing within mainland China. May I be eligible for 72 or 144 hours visa free transit?

Davide, you as an Italian citizen do not have to bother with this visa free transit stuff because you can enter China visa free for up to 15 days regardless of nature of your itinerary. In other words, you will just fill out the Chinese arrival/departure card and together with your passport proceed to the immigration. Visa free transit schemes do not have a jurisdiction over you.
