Suzhou city terminal to pudong PVG international airport

My flight is at 8pm from PVG international, what time should I leave my hotel in Suzhou to get to Pudong airport in time?

From Suzhou City Terminal, there are shuttle buses to Pudong Airport with a duration of about 2.5 hours, thus you should take the bus before 15:30. The bus schedule is 05:00 - 20:30 every 30 minutes.

Or you can take a bullet train from Suzhou to Shanghai Railway Station, then take Shanghai metro to PVG, it will take about 3 hours. And you need time to go to a railway station (choose the closest one) in Suzhou from your hotel. So in this way I advise you leave the hotel at 1pm.
