Travel to Shenzhen without book hotel in shenzhen

Hi i'm planning to visit Shenzhen on one day trip basis so i'll back to Hongkong at night. Is it possible to get VOA without showing hotel book confirmation letter in Shenzhen? Thanks!

Yes, you can do it through three designated border crossings (Huanggang and Lo Wu overland and Shekou by sea). You should take care of the opening hours of visa offices at those border crossings. The fee is currently flat for all the citizenship and it is 130 CNY. Also, it is good to have a hotel booking, but it is not decisive since you are mentioning day trip. Here I have to warn you that Indonesian citizens have somewhat mixed success in obtaining a Shenzhen VOA, so you should count on this detail.
