About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Arriving from Macau

I want to travel to Guangzhou coming from Macau and leaving to Philippines by plane, do I am eligible for the 144 Visa?

No, unfortunately this is not possible. To enter Guangdong province in general you have to fly into the province at three eligible airports. Since there are no flight connections between Macau and those three airports, you cannot do that.

In reality, you can slightly adapt your itinerary to do the following:

- Take a bus or whatever transport you want from Macau to HKIA (Hong Kong International Airport) and fly from there to Guangzhou on a direct, nonstop flight. This detail and the fact that you will fly from Guangzhou directly to the Philippines will make you eligible for 144 hour visa free transit valid for entire province of Guangdong.
