About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do i need 24hr twov if just transiting airside same terminal?

I have flight Auckland - London transiting Shanghai Pudong airport for 7 hours. My baggage is checked right through as it is all via China Eastern airline. Same terminal 1.

If i intend just to stay airside in Pudong Terminal 1 airport the entire 7 hours and not leave the airport, do i still need to go fill in arrival card and get a 24hr twov? or i don't even need to apply twov at all?

Your itinerary will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need to fill out, apply or anything else for anything... No formalities in your case whatsoever... Upon your landing, you will just exit the plane and walk to the gate for your London bound plane/flight. You will not be a subject of immigration and customs controls/checks, but you will just cross a brief security check. It really could not be simpler than it is.
