About:Former Residence of Lu Shaoxu

Student visa extension

Hello. My daughter is an American citizen studying at East China Normal University. She has a 120 day visa but needs to extend it for another 60 days because of a follow-on language immersion course. Can she do this and where does she do this in Shanghai?

Yes. She can apply for an extension and she need to apply at the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of Shanghai Public Security Bureau. And it is advised to contact the International Student Center of the university for consulting.
