About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Extesion

After arrival in China, Some reason( health , flight missed or ..) ) if i have to stay more than 240 hours, what should i do ? request for the regular visa or else , and if i have to obtain China visa from within China where should i go .

If something happens and it is not your fault, but something beyond your reach, you will report at the nearest Public security bureau (police station) where you will explain the situation. They will acknowledge the situation and allow you to stay within the country until the situation is not resolved, regardless of what has happened. It is not a visa that you will receive or apply, but a kind of additional days related to your permit that was used to allow you to enter the country. There is a solution for such a situation because the situations of this kind can really happen. By the way, you will not do that in case of some minor flight delay that will bring you beyond the midnight of the 10th day, but you will wait for that delayed flight at the airport. Hopefully, everything will be fine.
