VOA for Russian passport holder (HKPR)

Hello,

I'm a Russian passport holder with HK permanent residency. Am I eligible to get VOA? I also heard I need to arrive earlier at Lo Wu, as the daily quota might be gone fast. Is it true? Thank you!

Yes, you are definitely eligible for Shenzhen 5 days VOA. The price for you should be 275 CNY and you should bring your passport with you. It is also true that the queues at Luohu can be quite long and the entire waiting time quite consuming. So, you should really come before the opening and hope that a queue that you will find in front of you is not too long.

Another, more convenient, although somewhat more expensive way is to take the first morning ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen. Shekou port visa office is open: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.
