About:10-year China Visa for US and Canadian Citizens

USA citizen with HK PR and 2015 10 year China tourist visa question

My visa expires in 2025, but if I read your information correctly my visa is suspended. Is the Chinese office in Hong Kong issuing new 10yr visas to USA citizens at this time? I am assuming there is no way to know when or even if my current visa will ever be reinstated.

Yes, the old visa is invalid and it's unknown when or even if it will turn valid again or not. You can go to the visa office in HK to apply for a new one. As I know, it can be as long as the validity period of your passport.
