About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

Subway use as foreigner possible?

If i have a physical card (bought with cash at the station), can i use the subway as a foreigner? I heard the subway can only be used with chinese ID. Is that true?

Yes, of course you can use the subway with a physical transportation card.
