About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Chengdu

144 or 72 hour visa if staying 48 hours

Hi, I'm Australian and my flight is Sydney --> Chengdu --> Cairo, my connection is 48 hours so I'm planning to see the city during this time. I'm planning to visit another city, Leshan, but I can't do that with the 72-hrs visa so I was wondering if I can get the 144-hrs free visa (so I can leave Chengdu) despite my connecting being less than 72 hrs.

If you have presented your flights correctly, you will be definitely and without any doubt eligible for 144 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. 72 hour visa free transit does not exist in Chengdu for several years as it was extended to 144 hour visa free transit. During your stay you are free to visit Leshan and many other destinations freely...
