About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Can a South African spend five days in Sanya on holiday on the way to Hong Kong.

I am going to Hong Kong for business in October and I would love to spend a few days enjoying beautiful Sanya at a hotel. Is this possible and would I need a visa or do I qualify for the 30 day free visa.
