About:10-Year China Visa for UK Citizens

Visa validity

We are travelling to china in February 2025. We are visiting a few countries beforehand and applying for our L (tourist visa) visa in September 2024 so the time between being in UK ( we are British citizens) to get our visa and entering China will be 4-5 months. We have read visa validity can be anything from 3 to 6 months. Are we able to get a visa that is valid for 6 months to give us time to apply, travel, then enter china?

The duration and validity of your China visa are decided by the visa officer according to you application. Normally the tourist visa is valid for 3 months. Sorry for that:(
Maybe you can travel to China at first and then go on to other places.
