About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Zhengzhou city , Henan Province China

I hold a Canadian passport , wishing to travel to Zhengzhou City, Henan Province from Bangkok on the free transit visa. May I use the 24/72/144 hr transit visa to this region of China if I have a departing ticket to Kuala Lumpur with confirmed seat?

Forgot to mention that the flight to Kuala Lumpur is also departing the same arrival airport zhengzhou city airport

As I know, Zhengzhou Airport only has 24-hour visa-free transit and it hasn't implemented 72/144- hour visa-free transit policy. So pay attention to your transit time.

Ok, would I be able to leave the airport with in that 24hrs? The ticket to Kuala Lumpur would be a separate ticket possibly different airline also. Also when would the 24 hrs begin counting?

Yes, you can apply for a temporary entry permit to leave the airport.

It generally counts from your scheduled arrival time to your scheduled departure time.
