Upload copy of passport mandatory or optional?

Hi, I would like to check if it is mandatory to upload the photo of my passport for my booked train ticket. If I have personally double-checked my details and ensured that they are correct, would I still need to upload the passport photo?

Hi, this is optional, it is okay to just offer your accurate information without a photo copy.
