cable carpulley optional?

What is the point of the pulley/cable car? Is it because the climb is too difficult just by walking and we need to access the area by it? And what is the difference between a pulley and cable car, since there is a price difference? My boyfriend and I are visiting in middle of December; we are in our early 20s and are both in good health. What would you recommend?

Laura, I was there in 2010 and tried pulley. It's just like the slides we played when we were young. I personally think that you climb the wall on your own and take a cable car down. When you are in the cable car, you can have a bird's view of the wall.
