Trips in 144 hour visa

Hi! If going to Beijing on an 144 hours Visa, can you go on a daytrip to Mutianyu Great wall, or will i need an ordinary visa? If not, is there any others parts of the great wall that you can visit within the Beijing area that does not violate the 144 hours visa rules?

Best regards, Rebecca

Rebecca, it is important to use correct terminology to avoid any misunderstandings. So, this is 144 hour visa free transit and not 144 hour visa. In reality, there is no visa at all when using this scheme.

You are definitely allowed to visit Mutianyu Great Wall section and even more. In reality, you can visit the entire area covered by the cities of Beijing and Tianjin as well as the entire Hebei province. Quite a large area.

Enjoy in your stay.
