About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Does 144-hr visa exemption to Shanghai include a visit to Suzhou? How about Zhujiajiao?

Arriving by cruise from Hongkong ,,,docked in Shanghai for 2 days...then sailing to Busan, South Korea. While in Shanghai, on the 144-hr visa exemption, are we allowed to visit Suzhou? How about Zhujiajiao? Or do we need a visa to go to these places outside of Shanghai?

So, if your itinerary is exactly:

Hong Kong - Shanghai - Busan

And you do not have any other port call of any kind between the mentioned points, then you are eligible for 144 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa.

Also, you are definitely allowed to visit Suzhou, Zhujiajiao and many other places because under 144 hour visa free transit scheme you are allowed to explore the entire area of Shanghai city as well as the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, so quite a large area and no visa is needed.
