About:Kunming Airport

My flight is from Yangon to Kunming (international) then I have a flight from Kunming to Nanchang

Kunming to Nanchang is domestic flight so for the transfer should I go through immigration then claim baggage and transfer to domestic terminal? Can someone clear my doubts ?

You need to go through immigration but if collecting baggage depends on your air companies. If you use the same air company, generally you don't need to collect luggage but it is better to confirm with your air company.

Hi, Sweety– I am also from Yangon, and will be taking the same route to Ningbo via Kunming later this month too. I was wondering if you did have to retrieve your luggage at Kunming. I am travelling via China Eastern, if that helps. Thanks in advance!
