About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Manila to Sydney via Guangzhou

CZ3092 01MAR MANILA (MNL) GUANGZHOU (CAN) 1200 1435 OK
CZ0301 02MAR GUANGZHOU (CAN) SYDNEY (SYD) 0825 2040 OK
above is my itinerary, I hold Philippine passport, i want to visit Guangzhou for 1 night . what is the procedure to get out of the airport?

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. This is the most important detail.

To be allowed to exit the airport, you will approach transit counter (desk) immediately upon your landing where you will apply for a temporary entry permit. This application is absolutely free. Here you will present your flight tickets and one important detail, also a hotel booking confirmation. I strongly advise you to have these documents as printouts (hard copy). After a short check of your documents, you will be issued a permit and you will exit the airport to enjoy your time in the city and to have a normal night rest.
