is korea-hongkong-shenzhen-hongkong-korea possible?

Hi, I’m travelling from Korea to Shenzhen. My flight is from Korea to Hong Kong, and I plan to go to Shenzhen via Shenzhen-Hong Kong custom (on foot, by ferry, by train…)1. So I was wondering if I can go to Shenzhen via Hong Kong according to this 144 hour policy? Basically it’s Korea-HongKong-Shenzhen-HongKong-Korea.2. If so, do I apply for this permit at Hong Kong Airport, or at Shenzhen-Hong Kong custom?3. If not (is seems conflicted with the “A and C has to be different countries or regions” policy), can I go to Shenzhen from Hong Kong airport via direct ferry to Shekou pier, and leave by other transportation to HongKong? Because I heard that the direct ferry actually skips HongKong custom and brings you to Shenzhen custom.

Your itinerary is not eligible for any visa free transit scheme because you are well aware that you miss C country/territory. However, you are advised to use 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival. You can use three border crossings. Two overland, Huanggang and Lo Wu (Luohu) and one sea border crossings, that you have mentioned by yourself - Shekou. You can depart from Hong Kong Skypier directly to Shekou port by taking a ferry or from downtown Hong Kong. It is important to know the opening hours of visa offices located at those border crossings: Huanggang and Lo Wu (Luohu): 9:00 - 16:30 and Shekou: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30. If you plan to use one of two overland border crossings you should be aware that you should be there even before 09:00 because of quite a demand for Shenzhen VOA and also because of a daily quota. In any case, only those three visa offices issue the Shenzhen visas and not any other institution. The price of a visa for South Korean citizens is 275 CNY.After your stay in Shenzhen, you can return to Hong Kong by taking any border crossing and any mean of transport, high speed train included.
