144-hour transit visa

Hello, I'm a Vietnamese I'm flying from Vietnam to New Zealand via Shanghai Pudong Airport, and I intended to apply for a 144-hour transit visa to stay in Shanghai for 4 days before continuing my flight, am I eligible to do that and go out of the airport to do some traveling? Thank you!

I'm sorry but Vietnamese passport holders are not eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit at present. You have to apply for a transit visa in advance.
