About:China Train

Travel from Tianjin to Beijing by train

We are arriving at the international cruise port in Tianjin and would like to experience a bullet train ride to Beijing. Do you recommend this, and if so, which train station in Tianjin do we depart from and how would we get there? Taxi? Also, what about luggage requirements/restrictions? If this is too complicated, do you just recommend a taxi ride? We are three people and may not fit in a taxi with our luggage. Thank you!!

Yes, it is a good choice. The nearest railway station from the international cruise port is Tanggu Railway Station. The distance is still about 30 km and taxi is the best way to reach, which takes about CNY 100-120 per car.

The high speed train from Tanggu Station to Beijing South generally takes about 1 hour and it costs CNY 65.5 for a second-class seat.
